Quick Quotes

Q. Here now with Jeeno after her third round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Just another great round. Slip up at the end, but finished strong with a birdie on 18. What went into today?

JEENO THITIKUL: I mean, I had a really good start today starting with birdie and then keep it lower for the, you know, almost going to finish.

But like I think it's still like really good round of golf as well.

Q. How have you been able to keep yourself out of some of those bogey situations? You had two today; not very many the rest of the days. How are you able to keep yourself out of those bogey situations?

JEENO THITIKUL: Like I said, if you keep the ball in the fairway should be good for this course. I mean, it's really firm fairway, so when you get on the fairway you had kind of short approaching shot on the pin.

So I think if you can keep it on the fairway, should be fine for (indiscernible).

Q. Saw you on 9 today. Hit it a little bit right today and hit a really great shot on the green. When you're in those sticky situations, how are you managing to get out of them?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, sometimes it's tough. You know, like when you hit a bad shot and it's still in your head, in your mind. I am trying to delete it or maybe like just get the good vision, like good ball striking that I have been playing from first hole until whatever hole more than remember the bad things.

Q. This golf course, you said firm fairways. How are you managing your lengths, distances when it's playing so firm?

JEENO THITIKUL: Sometime I can't manage it. I mean, I still play and it's run out like a lot, lot, especially the last hole. I have an 8-iron for the second shot into the par-5. I'm just like, how can I have 8-iron on a par-5 and how can I drive like that?

It's definitely not my length. Just like bouncing or maybe just kick off really well.

Q. So you are picking spots hitting into knowing it's going to hit and run out?

JEENO THITIKUL: On the green yes, but on the fairway we not really can predict anything. I have some holes that I hit it really good and it's run out and up in the rough.

Yeah, you can't really predict anything on the fairway I guess.

Q. What's it going to take to get it done tomorrow?

JEENO THITIKUL: Like I said, every player who chasing for the leaderboard can go really low, so I mean, like if you can make as much as birdie as you can and then just play your game, whatever it takes. Just like on your game and then do your best. Whatever the result, you play your best already and then, yeah, just really much what I wanted to do.
