Q. Big two weeks for you. Playing in Solheim Cup. Great finish here at Cincinnati. Evaluate the last couple weeks.
ALBANE VALENZUELA: Yeah, I mean, super excited. Obviously play Solheim last week was a dream come true.
I think it just gave me huge appreciation for the game, the job I have, and kind of the opportunities that golf has given me over the years.
Top 10 finish this week, I feel like I left a lot of putts out there. I mean, not a great putting week for me, but I think even with a B Game type of putting, getting a top 10, you know, it means that there is a lot of depth in what I'm doing.
I feel like I'm trending in the right direction so definitely lots of positives to take.
Q. I know last week was emotional on Sunday for obvious reasons. A lot of emotion at the Solheim Cup. Saw a couple Hall of Famers chatting you up a little bit after. What did Meg and Beth have to say to you?
ALBANE VALENZUELA: Yeah, they've both been always great support and really good friends over the years. I've gotten to know them a little bit better, especially being on tour.
They kind of gave me, I mean, some really nice words of encouragement, just how proud they were of me and that they were really happy with the way I was playing. Just unbelievable mentors and support over the years.
I mean, I'm very fortunate to have them on my back.
Q. When did you first maybe meet them? When did they really latch on and start pouring into you?
ALBANE VALENZUELA: I feel like they've always been involved and supportive of the tour. Me and Andrea have always had a good relationship with Meg Mallon and she's always been incredibly supportive.
I don't remember when I actually met them. I feel like they've always just been around. They just try to support players out on tour. Just very fortunate to have them, and they're great people and even better players.
So coming from a Hall of Famer when you get a nice little Pep talk, it just means extra.
Q. Finally, obviously great two weeks. How do you build on this for the rest of the season?
ALBANE VALENZUELA: Yeah, I mean, obviously it's nice to get it back in the top 10. I feel like I've been trending in the last few months, getting some good finishes.
You know, Evian, Olympics, British. So the game is definitely there. Just excited for the Asia swing, some limited field events, four days of golf. It will be really fun.
