Q. It's a positive way to finish the week. You've played great golf this week. How cool does it feel to get a win on the final day?
LEXI THOMPSON: It feels amazing. Just coming into the week I was struggling a little bit because the week at home I was in a lot of pain with my hand. I couldn't get the practice that I really could be beneficial for me, but I was trying. I came here and I kind of just found something the day before, and I kind of just stuck with it, and sure enough, that's golf.
But I've just enjoyed every bit of playing alongside these girls and being part of the team.
Q. I know it's been fun for USA this week. What's the dynamic been like? I know Lilia is kind of a rookie, but you all seemed to get along super well.
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, we do. Coming into the week, we were like, who wants to be paired up with who, and we were like, we all get along so it really doesn't matter and we're all playing good golf, so -- good and great golf.
So it really didn't matter. I mean, that's a big part of team events is the personality dynamic and just all getting along.
Q. Again, big positive week here, you found something. I know it's a team event, but going forward individually, what will you take from this week that will propel you onward?
LEXI THOMPSON: Just all the positives. Yeah, I could have made maybe a few more putts out there, but my ball-striking was a lot more of how it used to be, especially earlier in the year before I started dealing with the hand pain and everything.
Just really going to build off that and just be positive with it all and continue to work my butt off.
