Q. I know Sunday wasn't really what you wanted to happen, but you played some dang good golf last week, some seriously good golf. What did you find last week that you're going to carry with you into this week?
ANGEL YIN: Confidence, a lot of good confidence. Just reassurance, I guess. Just played good. That's pretty much it. I don't know what else to say because honestly last week was really fun, so I want to have a lot of fun this week, too, and just play my game and see where it goes and see where it takes me.
Q. Anything in ball-striking and putting that was working specifically?
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, so ball-striking, I'm kind of losing my swing right now, but we're going to find it right now, as we speak, and then just putting was good, could make it better -- actually putting wasn't good last week, so I know putt is going to be really good this week. For some reason I was just missing it on the edge. I had a lot of three-putts, which really is abnormal for me, because putting is usually my strong suit. When I have a week of putting like that, I know the next week is going to be really good.
Looking forward to having better putting, and if my ball-striking comes together right now, I know it's going to be good.
Q. Being from around this area, how cool is it to be back here at Wilshire and how much are you looking forward to teeing it up on this golf course again?
ANGEL YIN: Always really fun to come to Wilshire because it's so close to home, although I'm not staying at home, but my friends are coming out, and they say they're coming out Sunday, so that's a lot of pressure. You've got to play good, can't have an early tee time, got to play last group kind of because you don't really want to get up early on Sunday.
Hopefully I tee off late enough where they can go to church and then come to me, so they can do a little bit of praying for me.
Q. Coming off last week, what's the reaction been like? I know you're pretty popular out here on Tour. A lot of people like you. What's the reaction been like?
ANGEL YIN: Just a lot of warm fuzzy congratulations, so that's been nice. I think Ann Kay wrote it, she's a Titleist rep, on my golf bag she wrote some kind messages on it. It was really nice. But the Tour is great. People are great. Everyone who volunteers, everyone who's worked on this event, everyone is always watching. It's really nice to get so much encouragement, and it's just really nice to see how our Tour is.
