Q. That's a pretty solid round out there today. What adjustments did you make from yesterday to today?
RUONING YIN: Yesterday I was struggling with my putter, and just couldn't make a putt, even a three-footer. So yeah, I just changed my grip, and today it feels better.
Q. What adjustment did you make with the grip?
RUONING YIN: I just made my left hand low so it can help me with the speed and stroke, as well.
Q. How challenging have these greens been this week? I know poa annua is not always an easy grass to putt on.
RUONING YIN: Yeah, these greens, especially in the afternoon, it gets really bumpy. It's kind of hard to judge the greens and the speed.
Q. I know yesterday was challenging, but today figured something out. What was working so well today? Was it finally the putter caught fire or was your ball-striking solid?
RUONING YIN: My ball-striking was solid for this week, and yeah, I just need to figure out what's going on with my putter.
Q. Just heading into tomorrow, going to be chasing. On this golf course it's tough to chase, but does your mindset change at all when you're chasing?
RUONING YIN: I think not really. I just need to play my game here. I think I can make a lot of birdies if my putting goes well.
