Q. Well, this is Minjee Lee the winner of this tournament back in 2019. How does this course compare to where you won at Wilshire.

MINJEE LEE: Very different. There is a lot more undulation here on the greens. A little bit more hitting from higher tees to lower ground. It's just a little bit different.

You can't really compare each course to each other because it's just a totally different kind of vibe.

Q. Some of the players that we spoke to earlier described it as demanding, a little bit, funky. How would you describe the course?

MINJEE LEE: I think it has a little bit of everything. You you have to drive it well and be in the right spots, and also there are fairways where you can hit it probably 30 wide and still be okay.

So it is demanding. I think the shots into the greens, if you're on the wrong complexes, is a little bit tricky. I think it does favor -- like the slopes favor where the pins are, so if you're obviously in the right complex it's going to be close.

Q. We're getting into a busy and important stretch of the season starting here this week. Got the first major of the year, The Chevron Championship next week. How would you assess where your game is as we get into this busy part of the year?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, offseason and the first few events I've been constantly working hard in all aspects of my game. Hopefully I can have a good week this week and have good momentum going into the next stretch of events.
