Q. Okay, here with Akie Iwai. Let's start at the beginning, chip-in eagle to start the day. How great was that? Tell me about that shot.
AKIE IWAI: Okay. First hole third shot maybe -- just moment.
Q. That's okay.
AKIE IWAI: 60 yards. I hit 58, so I feel after hit really long putt back spin. I can't see the hole, but... so lucky. Yeah. Lucky.
Q. Yes.
AKIE IWAI: I got two eagles this week. I can't believe it.
Q. Yeah.
AKIE IWAI: I hope tomorrow it's going to happen again.
Q. Just tell me a little bit about if you were feeling comfortable out there. Did you feel like you could make a lot of birdies out there today?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, I feel getting better than yesterday, so short also, putting also. Today putting maybe five meters -- we do five meters; I made it. We did five meters birdie putt, most of them.
Q. So you hit them within five meters and made all of them today?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah.
Q. Did it help playing with your sister? Did it make it more relaxing and easy to...
AKIE IWAI: Good question. Yeah, no change mind because just another player, opponent, player. So I think that's why no change mind.
But it was really fun. Really, really fun. A good experience.
Q. There are several very young players like yourself top of the leaderboard or near the top. Why do you think that is? Why are young players able to come out here and play so well so quickly?
AKIE IWAI: I don't know. I don't know, but I know high level, world class, so I must catch up the level, yeah. Yes. I know it's really high level but I'm trying to catch up.
Q. Were you nervous today out there at all? Looked like you were very relaxed.
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, little nervous, but good nervous.
Q. Yeah.
AKIE IWAI: Yes.
Q. And tomorrow leading do you think you'll be a little more nervous when you start?
AKIE IWAI: Maybe. Maybe, but anything I can just let it go tomorrow.
Q. How will you do tonight? Will you sleep well leading the tournament? Will you be...
AKIE IWAI: Really sleep well, so actually today our departure time 10:00, but I get up 10:00. Our departure time is ten but I wake up at 10:00, so I forgot alarm.
Sorry. Sorry my team. Yeah.
Q. Did you come in with the goal of being in the top spot or what was your goal coming in this round?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, this year I just -- I want to just win the tournament. I want to win at least one tournament this year. Not only majors but also regular tournaments, yes.
But my dream I want major and then I want to play final group with TV, Chisato, and my sister.
Q. You and your sister, you mentioned playing together. Both of you have different approaches. She was smiling a lot today and you had more of a serious -- is that typical or was it just today's round because she was struggling a little bit?
AKIE IWAI: Probably maybe all the time same.
Q. Last question. Thank you again. You guys share the same sponsor. Is that a competition within that too? How do you guys go about that?
AKIE IWAI: Nothing, except the shoes. My shoes Nike; she's New Balance. Yeah, difference. Only one.
Q. What's it like when you wake up late at 10:00? You seem so calm here, but is it hard when your day gets started with stress like that?
AKIE IWAI: Actually we have plenty of time so no problem. I can prepare until leave time. Just ten minutes, yeah, good.
Q. You're the older twin?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, just one minute.
Q. But do you joke and laugh about that a lot? You say with other twins, I'm older. Is that something you have fun with over your sister?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, yeah, sometimes. Yes, when we meet the twins like that, yeah, they give us always the same question. Who is older or something. Yeah, yeah. Fun, yeah.
Q. What is your plan for tonight to prep for tomorrow? Dinner? Watch a movie? How do you prep with a lead?
AKIE IWAI: Maybe little practice and then watching YouTube. Yeah, maybe. Maybe.
Q. It was warmer today. Did the course play differently today than the previous two days?
AKIE IWAI: Actually nothing special.
Q. You met the twin little girls out there just now. I'm sure you saw them on the course. Do you remember other twins following you in groups before and what did you think of those little girls?
AKIE IWAI: Yeah, I don't remember. Yeah, maybe first time today, yeah.
Q. What did you think of that?
AKIE IWAI: Really it was fun. Yeah. Thank you.
