Q. Ingrid, just your first season on the LPGA Tour, just a few weeks in, already a first-time winner. Are you surprised how quickly you found success out here?
INGRID LINDBLAD: I mean, a little bit after my bumpy start. It was just -- I mean, you should never not expect it, right? But obviously got it done in a couple starts; just kind of crazy.
Q. You posted on Instagram last night, less rough and more tap-in birdies tomorrow. How well do you think you executed that plan today?
INGRID LINDBLAD: I was still in some rough, but made a couple birdies on the front nine and kind of just slowed down on the back. Obviously feel like I could have had a couple more on the back nine. Here we are. (Smiling.)
Q. Joining your idol and fellow Swede, Annika Sorenstam. She was the one to win in here at El Cab. What does that mean to join her?
INGRID LINDBLAD: It means a lot. She's done a lot for us in women's golf and just she's a big inspiration.
Q. Often these victories you get a little luck along the way. Lucky break on 13.
INGRID LINDBLAD: Yeah.
Q. Take us through what happened.
INGRID LINDBLAD: I hit my driver. I had hit pretty good tee shots on that hole so felt pretty confident. Obviously I think the left miss is almost better than the right because it kicks down in the fairway.
I don't know the camera guy up there, but he was like, there is a little squirrel up there who was nice to you and bumped it out on the fairway.
