Q. Great playing out there today; 67; 31 on the back nine. Must be pretty pleased with the way you bounced back, especially after the bogeys at 8 and 9?
YEALIMI NOH: Yes. Yeah, I am very happy with the back nine. It was a slow start to the round but got it moving on the back nine. Chipped in on the 11th hole, so that was nice.
Q. You enjoyed such a great start to your LPGA career and played a Solheim Cup. Wasn't a great 2023 for you, but what has been the key to the resurrection this season, particularly the last few weeks?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, it was a hard few seasons, two years, 2022 and 2023. I just focused back on the basics and got back to my coach and just the fundamentals of my swing and everything and my putting. I switched to broomstick about a year ago and that's been really helpful.
Patience and a lot of mental training, but it's been good and this year has been great, so, yeah.
Q. Bunched leaderboard out there; sea of red numbers. Did see a few more tucked pins, some tighter pins out there today. Would you like to see a birdiefest over the weekend or would you like to see it toughen up a little bit?
YEALIMI NOH: I don't know. Birdies are kind of nice. I feel like however they set up the course there will be a lot of birdies. The course is scorable the greens being soft and receptive, but pretty firm for putts.
I don't know, just be a challenge however they set it up. Hopefully it'll be a good weekend.
