Q. All right, here with Grace Kim after your first round at the Maybank Championship. Is this your first time playing in Malaysia here at Kuala Lumpur?
GRACE KIM: Yes, it is.
Q. How do you find the course? It seemed it suit your game pretty well.
GRACE KIM: Yeah, I think bermudagrass is not particularly my favorite, but I think I do well in it, som I definitely took my chances make sure, making sure I attack whenever I need to and be aggressive with my putts.
It helped today.
Q. I know Ewan just asked you, but it's been a really good rookie season for you. You're up there on the Rookie of the Year standings. Is that something you thought about at all this year, maybe achieving Rookie of the Year with another top finish?
GRACE KIM: Yeah, I mean, I know I got a bit of a gap now. It's definitely been in my mind all throughout this year, and that was one the goals, but it is a big gap, but I am definitely going to give it my all until the very end.
Q. What would you say are the keys to performing well out here on this golf course?
GRACE KIM: I mean, I think it suits a lot of the girls. We're all very accurate. You don't have to be long out here. Just got to make sure you're accurate.
Like I said, they're bermudagrass so, so just kind of attack, be aggressive.
Q. What were some of the key moments, holes out there that helped with your round?
GRACE KIM: 14, yeah, I didn't realize the tee was bumped up forward today, but definitely took all my chances on that one. I hit a nice little cutty drive, which isn't my normal shape, but hit the upslope, came back down, made eagle, and then made a nice birdie on the next. So it was a good run.
