Q. All right, here with Rose Zhang after a really great last round here at the Maybank Championship. Can you just take us through your week in general, how you felt your game was throughout the week, and how solid you were?
ROSE ZHANG: I felt like it was a really incredible week for me. It's been a while since I've been in contention, in the top 10, and I just feel really lucky to be in that position.
I still have lots to learn, lots to improve on, but I feel like it's all up from here. Really glad to have everyone supporting me. It is just really good to be out there and keep playing my game.
Q. What are some of the big takeaways from this week?
ROSE ZHANG: Right, so I think for me, it's just important to understand what my routine is, and I realized what's been working for me, what I have to work on. Short game definitely much needed practice. Almost felt like I was yipping it out there.
But I really just am really happy that I have those kind of improving points to work on. Kind of makes me hopeful for whatever is to come.
Q. Only two more events to go in your rookie season. Can you break down how this feels? You played, what, I think your 12th or 13th event, and two more to go before the end of an amazing first year.
ROSE ZHANG: Feels incredible. For me I think the next two events are also just learning processes. You know, in Japan I'm super excited to just go enjoy the cuisine and the entire country.
Once I rest a little bit, maybe a week off, CME is going to happen, close out the year with a couple other events. So I think there is a lot of potential. I'll still be keeping my pedals moving and keep working.
