Q. Here with Mao Saigo after the first round the Maybank Championship. Just talk about how it went out there. Really nice 9-under round to begin.
MAO SAIGO: Yeah, I hit really good shot so that's why I play really well.
Q. Was there anything in particular about your round, your game today that you think really helped you get to 9-under?
MAO SAIGO: Yeah, I made a lot of middle length putt so that's why I play really well.
Q. Is there anything about Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club that you think really suits your game?
MAO SAIGO: Well, there is so much up and down so it's very difficult, but then it's really nice shape so I really enjoy playing on this golf course.
Q. You've had a really great year so far. Talk about what it's been like being a rookie on the LPGA Tour.
MAO SAIGO: Yeah, I've been playing really well. That really makes my happy. But I really wanted to win.
Q. You have a couple more events left to get that first win, and you're in the lead right now for Rolex Rookie of the Year. How does that feel and how are you trying to push in the last few events?
MAO SAIGO: Well, I just try not to think about the result but I just try my best every single tournament and I try to finish my best.
Q. And what are you looking forward to most about the next few days?
MAO SAIGO: Well, first of all I need to rest so I am going to try to recover from my body and then I try my best next few days.
Q. What do you think about this weather? Very hot on this course.
MAO SAIGO: Well, it's very similar to Japan summertime weather, so I'm just kind of like -- I kind of used to this weather.
