Q. I'll ask you the question: Did you impress yourself out there with that 66, because every part of your game looked so sharp?
RUONING YIN: I mean, I think every part of my game is pretty on spot. I was just feeling it with my putting, and I made a couple clutch putt today, which give me a lot of confidence going into tomorrow.
Q. Got to ask, are you going buy your caddie, Dave Jones, a beverage for his guidance on 16? That was one heck of a par save.
RUONING YIN: Yeah, yeah, I think I'm going to buy myself ice cream because I made that call going left. I think he was just try to measure the number, which is I think had me going between the tree.
I was like, bro, I don't like that. Let's just go left and just get the ball out of the, I mean, the woods.
And then just tried to save par there. Yeah, he did tell me one putt fix everything, which is pretty good.
Q. It certainly was an excellent putt and a great par. I asked Jeeno about the potential of playing alongside you tomorrow. She said you were texting yesterday. How difficult is it to balance that dynamic between being best friends and trying to beat each other?
RUONING YIN: I think we're bestie, but on the course of course we both want to win and we're both competitive. I think tomorrow is going to be fun.
