Q. All right, Janet, take me through your round today. Really good bogey-free round. How did you accomplish that out here?
XIYU LIN: I think like at the beginning of the week I think this course, to me, it's really scorable. Like I said, I was a little struggle with the tee shot recently, but I just feel like it's last two tournament of the year for me, so I'm just going to give it a final push.
So I think I set everything more on the aggressive side and I think today it worked out really well for me.
Q. You've obviously come really close this season and you just won on the LET not so long ago. How good is your game feeling right now?
XIYU LIN: Actually, like I would say my game is getting better, but hasn't been the best yet, so that's something I look forward to see, what can I have when I have my full game on.
But I think everything has been very consistent. Around the greens has been amazing. That save me a lot when sometimes I struggle with the tee shot.
To me it's more of a rhythm thing. So it's a really quick fix and I believe I can get it done for the next two weeks.
Q. What's your goal this week as you prepare for the big one, CME?
XIYU LIN: I mean, I haven't win so I think winning is still my goal. This course suit me a lot. It's a really like pure course with really, really nice greens, so you just need to have some good iron approach and some good putt rolling in, and that's what did I today.
Q. Last question: I want to ask about the fans. They've been showing so much support this week. How great has the fan base been here in Japan?
XIYU LIN: It's always great. I'm so glad I can finally play a tournament in front of a full crowds over in Japan, because we played Olympic without a spectator, so that was a shame.
But and today they were so supportive. They were so respectful and they so appreciate like any good shots you hit. I feel so much support out there, and I just love playing in front of them.
