Quick Quotes

Q. What a defense of your title. What has been so special about this week?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: I think just coming back to Japan has been really inspiring. I have very good memories from last year.

But very proud of myself to put a good defense up this week. I played really well today. Another 65 on Sunday like last year, which is nice. Yeah, just really proud of myself.

Q. And you came into this week 60th in the Race to the CME Globe. Do you want to know where you are right now?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: I would love to know. I think you're going to let me know now.

Q. You're 48th, so you leapt up 12 spaces. That's got to make you feel very happy, too.

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, that's great news. Obviously the goal the last few weeks was trying to get into CME. I think before Asia I was ten spots out, so last week helped and this week as well, so that's nice to know.

Q. The hybrids we talked about all week were exceptional. What is it about playing in front of these Japanese fans on a course that's set up so beautifully? I bet you just want to go and keep on playing more golf.

GEMMA DRYBURGH: I do, yeah. Maybe I should just stay in Japan. The fans here are so respectful and cheer for us all, so it's great to be here and see them again. So many that turned out for this week as well, so great to see so many fans.

Q. There is some good scoring going on right now on the golf course. What do you think will be the winning score?

GEMMA DRYBURGH: I think maybe 23 or 24 I'm guessing. I think they'll have a few birdies coming down the back nine. 17 is obviously very birdieable. We'll see.

Q. We really enjoyed watching you this week and brilliant defense of your title.

GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, thanks very much.
