Q. Minjee, an absolutely stellar round. All week we've been saying how hard this golf course is; 65 straight out of the gate. Walk us through the round today.
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, we were really fortunate with very calm conditions starting the day, so tried to take advantage of the nice conditions. And I think I turned in 4-under, so that was nice, and finished with 3-under on the back.
No, it was overall very solid day.
Q. I think we can all agree on that. The stretch from 16 to 18, 1-under par. What did you make of the changes in those three holes?
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, I don't mind it. I think it's quite quirky, a little bit different to the last time I played it. That was quite a few years back.
But, yeah, no, I think they're just a little bit different and you got to play it smart I think. So, yeah, we'll see how we go with the wind tomorrow.
Q. Second event back. Can you give us some insights on what you worked on throughout the off-season that came into play that shone through today?
MINJEE LEE: I actually touched on everything this off-season, especially changing my equipment to Callaway. Everything has been a little bit of a process getting used to, but I think it's going to take me a couple events just to knock the rust off and break those clubs in.
Yeah, no, I'm looking forward to the rest of the week.
Q. What do you need to do to break down the golf course today?
MINJEE LEE: I think maybe the afternoon the wind might come a little bit. We expect that because in the afternoon it does get up a little bit. I think just play smart, and obviously when you have the opportunities, try and capitalize on them. There are some short holes where you can hit wedges into the greens.
I think play smart and aggressive. Just pick your moments.
