Q. All right, I'm here with Roberta Liti after her first round at the Blue Bay LPGA. Good, solid round. How did you feel about your game today?
ROBERTA LITI: I felt good. You know, this last month I wasn't able to hit many balls because I was dealing with a little injury and I focused lot on my short game and my putting, which in a lot of ways was the part I had to strengthen coming in.
So I think the work the last month paid off, so it was nice to just feel confident all around my game.
Q. Any mental preparedness you had to do with that in mind, that you didn't get the chance to practice as much as you would've liked to heading into this?
ROBERTA LITI: Yeah, once I made peace with the fact I couldn't do anything about it I just had to rest. I did a lot of visualization and spent a lot of time preparing mentally visualizing the shots even though I wasn't hitting them.
I think that helped, because after all I didn't hit any bad shots the past month.
Q. Seems like it might have helped you stay patient out there.
ROBERTA LITI: Exactly.
Q. Anything else you noticed about this course, this being your first time playing?
ROBERTA LITI: The course is great. I think it's a really nice course. It reminds me a little bit of Hawai'i. I love the course. I think it's a great design. It's fun to play. It's different. I enjoyed it.
