Q. Tell me a little bit about today. What clicked for you? What worked.
KIIRA RIIHIJARVI: Honestly I hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. It's quite important on this golf course, and then I got some putts to drop in so I gave myself a little bit of cushion in the front nine to just kind of play free.
Q. Did you realize at some time you were in the lead?
KIIRA RIIHIJARVI: I did see that on 16 when I three-putted. I didn't think it would affect me, but I guess it did.
Q. How do you manage that on the course? I mean, the bogeys, the birdies, up and down?
KIIRA RIIHIJARVI: Honestly, it's just part of the game. Sometimes you make a lot of birdies and sometimes you make a lot of bogeys. Just got to accept both of them. I feel like this golf course is like the greens are a little bit tricky, so not surprised there will be more bogeys.
Just got to accept it and move on to the next hole.
Q. Coming into this week in your position in the rankings, what were you expecting?
KIIRA RIIHIJARVI: I mean, I was just happy to get in the tournament, to be honest. I wasn't quite sure if I was going to get in and really wanted to get in because I have never been to the Boston area. I'm just excited to get to play and have the opportunity to get my ranking better and happy to be here.
