Q. Harris, this scene, that drama, you harness it all to get your fourth career victory. I'm assuming you've never experienced anything like this, because we certainly have not. How did you handle this to create your moment?
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, this was awesome. The fans were keeping us in this it, getting the juice from them. That's been really all afternoon. Hats off to Kramer. What a competitor. We were both grinding. That's what it was all about. We were grinding and trying our hardest.
Went to seven or eight holes, I don't know how many it went. That was incredible. What an experience, and the fans were awesome. They're always great here in Hartford, and glad we got to give them a little show at the end.
Q. It's one for the books. Enjoy this one, you have earned it.
HARRIS ENGLISH: Thank you.
Q. Congratulations. What an epic battle. Lots of pars in that playoff. Finally made the birdie putt. What's it feel like to win again, second time this season, fourth of your career?
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, it feels great. Felt good all week this week. You just never know when a win is coming. We hung in there. I knew today coming in two back, shoot 3-, 4-, 5-under and have a chance.
The wind was tough today. It was a battle on the back nine. My putter kept me in it and the playoff as well. I made some solid putts and was very confident. Put some extra work in on the putting this morning because I knew how crucial some of the putts were going to be, and came through for me.
Kind of sorry it took seven or eight holes, but we were both grinding. Kramer is a hell of a competitor. We were both fighting to the end and that's what you want.
Q. Tell me about the winning putt, because you had seen it a few times here today.
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, a little different angle. This hole location is weird. Had a similar lie in regulation and I had that 8, 10-footer to win it on the fifth or sixth playoff hole. Broke more right than I thought.
I had a good feel for that putt and struck it good and luckily went in.
Q. Second in the FedExCup points standing coming up to crunch time this year.
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, that's the goal all year. Love getting back to The TOUR championship. Having a chance to win the FedExCup, I mean, that's what it's all about. So I'm pumped. I'm going to take couple weeks off and get ready for the British Open, and definitely going to celebrate this one.
