THE MODERATOR: Well, Kevin, you started the day even-par, and you are standing here 8-under today. Bogey-free 8-under, 63. The par 71 confuses me. Just a few keys to the round.

KEVIN STREELMAN: Gosh, I putted poorly yesterday, and my caddie noticed something. We did a 7:00 p.m. emergency putting green session. Just kind of just changed my head position a little bit.

I was tilting and backing out of the putts a little bit. So just getting my head center more on my body, and it just allowed me to turn a little cleaner. All of a sudden it was just rolling today. It's always something small, and I knew something was off.

That on top of hitting some nice irons, and it seemed like a bunch of 5- to 10-foot range on birdies and did what I was supposed to on the par-5s, I think. I three-putted 2, which was kind of a buzz-killer.

I was proud of that round. To be able to keep that together. Bogey-free on the PGA TOUR is always good. With eight birdies, it kind of gets me back in it.

THE MODERATOR: Tied for the low round of the day right now. You've had plenty of history here with some good finishes, three top-10 finishes.

Obviously a place you like to enjoy coming back to probably as much for on the course as everything off the course as well.

KEVIN STREELMAN: Yeah. Well, the Big Dig, as everyone knows, is a huge hit. With a 9-year-old and 7-year-old, that's a priority. That's a major for us.

Whitey's Ice Cream here, my daughter has talked about that for the last six months about coming back to Moline for the Whitey's Ice Cream.

They've got a good card store here. Me and my son collect baseball cards. We're going to the card store this afternoon and rip some cards.

Yeah, it's pretty fun. Traveling with a fourth- and second-grader is different and something we're getting used to. As they've gotten older and missing friends a little bit at home -- you know, it was different when they were babies and we were lugging them around, but now they're real people.

Courtney and I are trying to figure all that out and dealing with illness some weeks. You know, just crazy traveling circus stuff, but it makes it really fun and great memories with our family.

Yeah, getting close to home for me near the Chicagoland area is a little extra special this week.
