Q. Got off to a hot start, maybe a little cool in the middle, finished with a great birdie. How would you assess your day overall?
NICK HARDY: I'm playing great golf, all three days just playing great golf. I'm pretty happy with where I stand right now. I'm really happy to birdie the last two holes. I know early back nine there, kind of got off the beaten path, a couple bogeys, a couple shots given away, easy shots given away. You know what? I got them back and I'm proud of the way I finished.
Q. When you do give away shots like that that you feel like you shouldn't, how do you mentally kind of get past those and try to move on, knowing that you're playing well enough to get them back?
NICK HARDY: Yeah, I've gotten a lot better at just handling with my emotions out there, and I would say even making two bogeys in a row, I really did not let my heart rate jump. I was breathing and really calm out there.
You know, I just don't let myself get too high or too low out there, and I really am proud of that.
Q. Right now you're three back, could be a little bit more by the end of the day. What do you feel like you have to do tomorrow to hopefully be holding that trophy at the end of the day?
NICK HARDY: You know, if I can get off to the start I did today -- I birdied four of the first five. It doesn't have to be that hot. But if I get off to a good start, I know I'll be right there. I'll look pretty good coming into the back nine, so that's my goal, to have a chance on the back nine.
Q. When you're in position like this, is there something that you can draw upon from your past that you kind of use to help you along?
NICK HARDY: Yeah, sure. It's been a while for me. I haven't won anything really as a pro. College, I won a few times. It's obviously a different level here, but you feel the same things, and I feel like I'm prepared for it.
