Q. Pretty nice to get in with a third-round 67; a little chance there on the last with a 10-footer, but how would you assess the day?
CHAD RAMEY: It was a great day. I hit it well all day. I had just a little stretch of holes where I hit it a little wayward, but overall it was a great day. I hit a lot more good putts like that on 18 that just didn't fall.
We'll get them rolling.
Q. You've played the nine front really well this week and the back nine not as well as the front. In the past is that something you've done here?
CHAD RAMEY: I didn't even notice that, to be honest. But no, honestly, I've never really paid attention to it that way, but it might be that way, I guess.
Q. How do you feel playing and making the cut here in Mississippi?
CHAD RAMEY: It's great. Other than the St. Jude, which is closest to me, this is kind of like a home event to me. To come down here and play well in front of a lot of family and friends, it's really nice.
Q. Have you talked with Ford at all, both having the Mississippi State connection?
CHAD RAMEY: Yeah, I actually played nine holes with him on Monday. I played nine with him. We have the same swing coach, so I'm very familiar with him.
Q. I know he struggled a little bit today. Have you been proud of him a little bit?
CHAD RAMEY: Yeah, you can't really ask for more. I don't know how he did it, but I know he shot 7-under yesterday. 7-under to make the cut in your PGA TOUR debut, you can't ask for more than that.
