Q. Ryan, second round 6-under. How would you assess your round today?
RYAN FOX: Very solid. I bogeyed 10 to start off, with but other than that gave myself plenty of chances. Made plenty of putts. Kind of had a couple that I left out there, but sort of the evened itself out.
Made a couple outside the expected range that were nice, then a couple other chances I missed. Yeah, pretty happy with of 66. Been two solid days of golf. Nice to be in the mix for the weekend?
Q. You're one off the lead right now. Just how does that feel and do you feel comfortable now that you've been in this situation a couple times this season?
RYAN FOX: Yeah, I've obviously played all right in Europe the last couple years as well being in that position a few times. Yeah, I'm looking forward to giving it a crack tomorrow. Figure I'm going to be three or four back probably by the end of day. That's in with a chance around here. There is a low number out there as everyone can see.
Yeah, it's nice that the golf game feels pretty solid. It's the first time it's been like that for a couple months, so nice to take advantage of that and hopefully I can do the same thing on the weekend.
Q. What about this golf course really plays to your strengths and what do you like about this course in general?
RYAN FOX: It's just a good old school style track. Tree-lined. If you drive it good, you've got a few wedges in; the par-5s are gettable. I've done that pretty well the last couple days. Kept it in play for the most part and given myself lots of good looks in for second shots and hit some decent second shots as well.
Greens are running amazing. I've always struggled a little bit on bermuda, but feel like there is not too much grain on them and they're rolling really true and good speeds. Yeah, every bit of the golf course is good really. Just a good layout, good condition, and it's fun to play.
You don't get beaten up which is nice.
