Q. Jacob, currently tied for the lead. How would you assess your game through two rounds?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, been hitting it well. Kind of the first couple days on the range, we got here, I was hitting balls with my coach and he was praising me how good I was swinging it. It felt really good, which was surprising, because when the storm came through the past weekend I didn't hit balls for like four days.
So I was sort of shocked when I was in good form. Yeah, had three good practice and carried that over to the course and hitting it well and putting it good, too.
Q. Elaborate on that a little bit. Obviously with the storm not being able to practice, was it nice to have a couple days off and have a little reset before coming back here?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, would've been nice, but no power, no air; kind of had a lot of things to handle, take care of. My sister's house had a couple trees fall on it.
So I had a lot of other things on my mind than golf which I guess is probably a good thing, but coming off a break I was ready to go. I had got my game in pretty good shape before that and glad the three, four days didn't take a toll on me.
Q. Finishing up your rookie season on TOUR. How would you assess your first year and how important these opportunities are in to the fall to go out and play and improve your status?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, this year it's been a lot of fun. Definitely learned a lot. But it's been very tough at the same time. I'm not complaining because it's the best job in the world.
It's definitely mentally tough at times. Physically tough. I'm glad I am where I am and hoping to finish the year strong and do it again.
Q. Any damage to your home?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: My house is fine; parents' house is fine. My sister's had two trees fall on it. Yeah, so she's probably going to live with me for a couple months, so that will be interesting.
