Q. Hayden, this was a golf course that was very gettable. I know you had to get right back out there this morning and you took advantage of back-to-back days of 66.
HAYDEN SPRINGER: Definitely the scores are low, so it's gettable, yeah. Nice couple days and I'm putting it really nice, which is a good thing.
Q. These greens are so good. If you give yourself a lot of looks, you are going to be able to find a way to make a lot of birdies. What's been the key to success for you on this golf course?
HAYDEN SPRINGER: I mean, I really didn't hit it all that great. Had to scramble a bit. When I hit it in there and gave myself a look I made quite a few of them.
Really the putter has been the key for me these first couple days, so hopefully I can keep that going and hit it a little bit better.
Q. Talking about this season for you, you have a 59, Top 5 early in the spring. When you've played well, you've played exceptionally well, and yet you find yourself in the fall, you need a couple good starts to keep the card for next year. How do you approach this stretch of golf knowing your best golf this year has been really dang good?
HAYDEN SPRINGER: Yeah, it's nice to know like when I'm playing well it's definitely up there. So it's like anything, just trying to take it one day at a time and a tournament at a time, not overcomplicate it.
That's the big thing for me, is just trying day at a time, shot by shot, and see where that puts me.
Q. Shot by shot this weekend, do you think this golf course evolves a little bit? We were wondering if the greens get firm at all? What have you seen through two days? How do you expect the golf course to mature over the weekend?
HAYDEN SPRINGER: I feel like it's played pretty similarly this afternoon to this morning. I mean, I've heard this place gets firm and fast, but so far really hasn't been super firm.
Greens are quick, but I would expect it to get a little firmer and faster. So far it's been consistent.
