Q. 6-under, 65, nice start. If we can get some comments on your round.
ANIRBAN LAHIRI: Yeah, I played really solid today. It was nice to get some rhythm going with my driver. I kind of struggled with that last week and have been working on a few things with my coach.
So it was nice to actually play with some rhythm. On the front nine, I had a good stretch there. I picked up a few shots. All in all, I think it was a day where you could really take advantage. The wind was down. And I feel like I left maybe two, three shots out there coming in.
So I'm happy with the start, but just if it stays like this, it's going to be a low-scoring week, so you just have to keep going.
Q. You didn't leave any shots out there on No. 16. Take us through the eagle on that hole.
ANIRBAN LAHIRI: Yeah, I hit a really good drive and then the wind was kind of switching around and I was in between a 5- and a 6-iron, decided to hit the 5, and I actually hit it pretty good, but just had a little more carry on the wind than I thought and hit it over the back in a really tough spot, to be honest, in the rough.
I was fortunate to have a good lie and then kind of hit a little 8-iron chip, landed it kind of in the first cut and rolled it up the fringe, and just when it got to the green, it was just perfect all the way. I kind of knew it was going to go in 6, 7 feet before it got there. So that's a nice feeling because you're trying to get up-and-down from there and then if you make one it's a nice bonus.
Q. You mentioned rhythm. Was that really the only thing a little bit on the swing from last week that you worked on?
ANIRBAN LAHIRI: I think there's a little bit more work that I need to do. I hit a lot of fairways today, which I'm super happy about and you have to do that on this golf course if you want to take advantage. But I really didn't hit it that close with my wedges, apart from maybe a couple of shots. So in all fairness, I didn't give myself as many looks on my back nine, given that I put myself in pretty good positions. So hopefully tomorrow I'm looking forward to coming out and playing in softer conditions. The last I would say hour and a half the greens were quite baked and completely different from when we started. It was firm and bouncing out. More like the Vegas of old when we used to play when it was colder. So it will be interesting to see how the course conditions are and try and take advantage of that.
