Q. You could get used to this, couldn't you?
CHAD RAMEY: I could. I like being here. That's for sure.
Q. Some comments on your round here as we finish up at dark?
CHAD RAMEY: I hit it really well off the tee all day. The putter made a lot of putts on my front nine, which was the back nine, and I got off to a good start.
Putter went a little cold on the back nine, but I was still hitting great putts and managed to make a couple of birdies coming in.
Q. I think your proximity the five holes that we followed you, you were right around between 10 and 15 feet. How good were your irons out there today?
CHAD RAMEY: They were good. The swing felt good. I was kind of hitting it where I was looking. I was giving myself a lot of good looks.
Like I said, I don't feel like I was hitting bad putts out there. They just, kind of just stopped going in for a little bit. But I still made a couple of them coming in, so got a little momentum behind me.
Q. One of the things they mentioned on the broadcast is the fact that you made 26 straight cuts on the Korn Ferry TOUR. You got off to a little bit of a rough start in your first two PGA TOUR events, but does it feel like you've got that consistency back again that you've had, that you had last season?
CHAD RAMEY: It does. Kind of the first tournament of the year, I didn't drive it very good and didn't putt it very good, so the last few weeks I've kind of been hitting those points pretty hard, and I've kind of feel like I got it back under myself a little better right now.
And, yeah, I hit it really well off the tee and I'm making putts. You can't ask for much more.
Q. Now you have a 36-hole co-lead. Talk to me about Saturday, what are you most looking forward to?
CHAD RAMEY: Just obviously being in the final group or I think I'm in the final group, I'm not sure. But yeah, just being that close, having the lead, it's the position you want to put yourself in. I'm not going to change game plans, so I'm going to approach tomorrow with the same game plan and just enjoy it.
