Q. 5-under 66, sort of a slow start but you got it going toward the end.
TAYLOR MONTGOMERY: Yeah, it was a very slow start, but I was hitting the ball really well. It was just one of those rounds where you just feel like you make a bunch of pars and very boring, but hitting a lot of good shots, and then all of a sudden a couple putts started to go in, started to hit a couple shots closer, and shot 5-under.
That's kind of how this course is. It feels really easy out there, but it can be tough because the greens are new. They're firm. It's been tricky the first three rounds.
There hasn't been any wind out here, and the scores aren't as low as you'd think they would be.
Q. Take us through 15, 16 and 17.
TAYLOR MONTGOMERY: Oh, those were great. I hit a really good shot into 15 just over the green and made birdie, and then 16, I was in between a 7- and a 6-iron on my second shot, and I tried to go with like this slicey 6-iron to take some distance off, and I hit it up there about 18 feet and made it for birdie.
Then 17 is a tough hole. You hit a good shot, you're going to have a good birdie look. If not, you're making bogey, if you miss that green to the right or short left in the water.
I hit a good shot there and made the putt for birdie. That was a nice little stretch of holes.
Q. And a good grouping today. Talk about playing with Harry today.
TAYLOR MONTGOMERY: Oh, yeah, I love playing with Harry. Harry has been one of my great friends since I met him in college, and I hope we play many more rounds together. I wish he was on Team USA, but I guess he's all right.
Q. Just your thoughts and goals for tomorrow's final round?
TAYLOR MONTGOMERY: Yeah, I want to shoot as low as possible. That's kind of the goal. I feel like I've thrown out too many shots to have a chance at winning this tournament, but you never know. But I expect to be quite a few shots back going into tomorrow, I think.
