Quick Quotes

Q. 14, 15, 16, those are holes you got to take advantage of, aren't they?

JT POSTON: Yeah, the whole back nine feels like you got a lot of chances, especially if you're hitting the fairway. Nice to get the round going there on 14, make a good one, knowing 15, 16 are very gettable. Good to take advantage of it.

Q. Not too often you shoot 7-under and you're behind by three. Get a chance to look at the scoreboard? Were you peeking at it at all today?

JT POSTON: Yeah, I saw that Taylor was playing good. Honestly, we know the forecast. Looks like it's going to get pretty windy tomorrow and it's a four-day event.

Just try to kind of do my thing and take advantage of some calmer conditions.

Q. How do you prepare for what's to come? Can you prepare for wind gusts that we're expecting to see, 30, maybe 40 miles per hour?

JT POSTON: I think the big thing is, it's cliche, but one shot at a time. We've played in wind like that before. It's not easy. You got it kind of stay patient.

It's nice to take advantage of a day where it's calm and get off to a good start. Yeah, I mean, tomorrow we'll just try and grind it out and try to post whatever we can post.

Q. Final thing: What does it mean as a player to come support a tournament like this and the great work Shriners do for children battling some tough circumstances?

JT POSTON: Yeah, it means a lot. It means a lot to be able to see some of those kids, and if you can make their day, then great. They're obviously going through a lot.

It's great to be a part of a tournament that's trying to help those kids and families that have been dealt a tough hand.

Always love being here. Love seeing the kids when they're out. Just trying to support as much as I can.
