Q. JT, kind of an interesting scorecard with an eagle and all pars. How would you assess the 13 holes to this point?
JT POSTON: You know, I feel like I hit a lot of good shots and some of them just haven't quite gotten close. I mean, I'm kind of like you, I'm a little bit just trying to stay patient and hit good shots.
Feel like I hit a lot of good shots exactly how I wanted to and just hadn't got the putter going. Nice to hit that really good one in to 9 and make an eagle and just keep plugging along.
Q. What did you see on the shot on 9?
JT POSTON: Yeah, honestly just a good number. We had a little bit of hurt which we knew. It was a 3-wood so I was going to have to get it up in the air to try and stop it to keep it on the green. With it a little into the wind that definitely helped.
It was a good number to hit just a perfect high cut 3-wood. It was a little right of where I was looking, but I knew I hit it good when I hit it and it was just a matter of trying to see how soft it would land.
Q. Seemed like up and down on 12 just helped sustain you a little bit. What did you see on that shot there? Didn't seem like you had that much room to work with.
JT POSTON: Yeah, that was not an easy one. It was one of those you just -- there wasn't a whole lot of room for error. Thankfully I had a decent lie and was able to get some spin on it.
I could not have hit it any better. Put about as much spin on it as I could. Yeah, that was a momentum saver and keep the round going, like you said.
Would've liked to make that one on 13, but we'll have plenty of chances tomorrow to try and make a few more.
Q. What's the approach, the mentality going into tomorrow knowing it's an early wakeup and some extra holes to play? What's the approach?
JT POSTON: Just like today. We did it this morning, too. I do have that going for me. I'm a little more familiar. I think just trying to stay patient. There is a lot of golf left. Conditions will be pretty easy.
I think you saw that with some of the scores; guys are making birdies. So I think it's just trying to stay aggressive but also stay patient if the putts don't fall early because there is a lot of holes left.
