Quick Quotes

Q. Ben, how would you characterize the round today?

BEN TAYLOR: Solid round. I mean, I had a little bit of a hiccup on the first with an early bogey, which is obviously quite standard for a golf course like this.

But we had level shoulders on us today. I made a lot of good par saves, and to make a couple birdies on the back nine to finish off a strong round.

Q. What was particularly working in your game? What was the best part of it?

BEN TAYLOR: I would say my scrambling was the best today. I holed a few good putts. I have done all week, kind of holing out quite well for par, which has kept the rounds going.

Didn't hit that many fairways or greens today, so certainly scrambled well and put ourselves in a good position.

Q. Are you going to reflect a little bit on Houston a little bit and being in contention there tomorrow?

BEN TAYLOR: Sure. I mean, I'm no stranger to this position anymore, which is obviously a good thing. You know, slightly different weather. Houston was freezing. We were just trying to keep warm and play golf.

So slightly different this week, but the position is still the same, right? So it's obviously very exciting and this is what we've worked for. We've worked to put ourselves in these positions, and hopefully tomorrow we can go and have a solid last round like I did in Houston.

Q. What have you learned from past experiences that will help you tomorrow try to pick up your first PGA TOUR win?

BEN TAYLOR: I failed multiple times on Sundays. And it's all experience at the end of the day. This is my third season on the PGA TOUR. I think I certainly feel like I have the experience now. I don't feel like I'm inexperienced in these positions.

So I certainly have that going for me in my back pocket. I'm excited to be in that position again tomorrow.
