Q. Talk about your round first of all and then the fact that it propelled you into a really good spot for tomorrow.
BEAU HOSSLER: Yeah, Pebble can give and take so quickly, right? I was glad to be on the receiving end today. I hit it well, played really conservatively, frankly, as even though it might not look like it and was fortunate to not have any misses really get me in significant trouble. It was as fairly stress free as you can be around here. I think I hit obviously a lot of greens and when I did miss the greens it was in a pretty decent spot.
So the margins are thin at Pebble, greens are small and they're getting pretty firm. So I was lucky to give myself some good looks today and I rolled the putter beautifully.
Q. Two birdies to finish off there. How big is that when you're in a chase like this, you're trying to get up to the lead, how big is it to finish strong like that going into Sunday?
BEAU HOSSLER: It always is. Certainly around here there's challenging holes coming in. That whole back nine when you get any kind of north wind it feels like every hole is into the wind. You can kind of get after the front nine and the back nine you kind of hang on.
And fortunately I was able to, I think I probably played the back nine in, I mean probably 3-under, if I had to guess. And played nicely. Yeah, certainly for momentum every shot is a big deal and you want to be as far up there as you can after three rounds to give yourself a chance to win. That's all you can ask for and fortunately I was able to get in the house pretty clean, didn't have too much stress and I'm happy with where the game is.
Q. You mentioned the wind a little bit. Speaking about the weather this week, obviously coming into Pebble normally tough conditions, it's been pretty nice out, looking at another nice day tomorrow, how does that change your mentality coming not round.
BEAU HOSSLER: It doesn't, I guess you just enjoy it a little more. But, yeah, no, I mean the weather's been spectacular. I think today really the back nine that we played was the first real amount of wind that came up. With that being said, I've seen it obviously four to five times as heavy the wind than it was today. But, I mean, the first two days have been chamber of commerce days, beautiful, we've seen the sun, playing all three of these courses in short sleeves is like it never happens, right, it's crazy.
You look at the weather and you wake up in the morning, it's really cold and you tee off and it's like, wow, you could play this whole round with no jacket on and that's very rare around here, so we've been very lucky.
