COREY CONNERS: It was a hard-fought battle. I felt like I played really well on the front nine. Got myself into the lead making the turn, kind of struggled in the first few holes on the back nine and was able to escape not losing too many holes and then won a couple at the end. Nice birdie on the last. Got a pretty good read from his putt.
Q. This sets up the winner-take-all match tomorrow against Alex Noren and the winner of your group advancing to the final 16. Size up that match with Noren coming up tomorrow?
COREY CONNERS: Yeah, he's been playing really well, as have I, I feel very comfortable with my game, so it will be a good battle, I know we're both fierce competitors, but I'm looking forward to it and hopefully we have a good match.
