Q. Another good win today. How did you kind of assess how the match went?
CAMERON YOUNG: I feel like I played really nicely. I didn't make a ton until late. I feel like I kind of watched Corey make a bunch of six-, seven-footers. I'm sure it wasn't that many, but it felt like it, kind of through the first 14 holes.
Then obviously to finish with two good putts on 16 and 17 was really nice.
I got a good break on 18, honestly, to have any kind of shot. Almost took advantage of it with a wedge, but just nice to get out of there with par and tie that hole.
Q. Obviously you're 2-0 heading into tomorrow's match. You kind of control your own destiny. Was it good to go through a little bit of adversity there?
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, for sure, just to have some experience making those putts and succeeding kind of with a little bit of added pressure on the line, it's nice to just have that in your back pocket, like hey, I did it yesterday, I made two big putts.
Yeah, moving forward I feel really good about how I'm playing. I'm just excited for tomorrow.
Q. Is that the biggest key, that you know you're playing well, and forget about anything else, you just know if you go out and do your thing you're going to move on?
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, I feel like most of the time eventually you're going to make four, five, six birdies at some point. Obviously outside of some that were maybe really difficult. Obviously it's windy and difficult today but there's enough holes you should still make four, five or six birdies. It's just keeping myself patient knowing that those are probably coming. I would have liked them to be a little bit earlier, but I'll take them right where they were.
