Quick Quotes

Q. Nice playing out there today. Who was the better teammate?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Well, I was telling Steeley on my way from 18 to 1 or 9th to 10th that I shot about 45 on that side but we shot 4-under as a team. I think that can answer your question who's played better on the front. But we did a great job of ham-and-egging and we shot about the lowest score we could.

Q. With the wind conditions out there how did you guys find the score and able to score?

BRENDAN STEELE: There were some really tough shots out there today. I mean, the par-3s, especially 17 and 9, are playing really hard, and there could be some major disasters on those holes, and then holes like 15 and 6 are hard holes anyway and then the wind is in a tough spot there. It was really tough. There wasn't a lot of easy holes for sure.

Q. I want to ask you about your strategy on 13 with the tree in the middle of the fairway. How do you strategize around that? How do you get around the tree?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Well, I stand up on that tee and try to hit it as hard as I can, try to get it past that tree. But there's really not much you can do because you can't hit 3-wood, stay short of it because there's a carry there, and your goal is to just hit it hard and get it past it but if you hit it far enough to the right you'd be okay, but inevitably that ball has a magnet right towards that tree.

Q. Was Keegan starting to get a little heavy there at the turn?

BRENDAN STEELE: He was heavy on a couple holes, but we're good enough friends, we've been doing this long enough, I know there's going to be those moments for sure. I'm just trying to pick up and help him out, and then he turned it on on the other nine. He made three in a row really nice putts that really got us going there and then made another really nice one on 8, so he definitely carried his weight on the other side, and even so he threw in a birdie on 13 as well, saying how bad he played on that side, so he definitely helped there, as well.

Q. Do you guys have any favorite restaurants you're hitting this week?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, we do, actually. We went to a place called The Rebirth in downtown. It was excellent. One of the best meals I've had here.
