Q. Talk about your first day, first round.
ANNIKA SORENSTAM: It was a little choppy. I got off to a great start. I've never birdied the first hole. I felt really good. My speed was off on my long putts. Put myself in some tricky positions. I've got to sharpen that a little bit. Obviously it always feels good to bookend with birdies, so that was good. It's great to be here, no complaints.
Q. How are the crowds out there?
ANNIKA SORENSTAM: They're amazing. So many. They are energetic. The atmosphere is pretty incredible here. People are super excited to be here. I can see why; it's a beautiful day.
Q. What are you going to work on this afternoon?
ANNIKA SORENSTAM: I've been driving it well, driving it well, and so driving and my speed putts. Lag putts is what I've got to improve for tomorrow.
