Ousmane Dieng

Press Conference

Q. You had the growth spurt a few years ago. Everyone said that you look even taller now. Do you still feel like you're growing into your body?

OUSMANE DIENG: I feel like it might be maybe one inch. Nothing crazy but just a little bit.

Q. A year into the NBA, what's been the most surprising thing to you, something that you didn't know but now is something fairly significant?

OUSMANE DIENG: Probably the season. It's a long season. I knew it, but when you're in it, you really feel it.

So probably that.

Q. In your mind do you have a defined role for this team, or because you do so many different things, you think you can fit in a lot of different places?

OUSMANE DIENG: I feel like I can do a lot of things, so I'm just trying to help the team to win, and like whatever the coach needs me to do, I'll do it.

Q. You're one of a number of guys on this team who happens to be tall but also has guard-like skills. Is there anyone in the league you've patterned yourself after?

OUSMANE DIENG: I wouldn't say I play like that guy, but I was watching a lot of Paul George, KD. So yeah, I'm not saying I'm trying to play like them, but yeah.

Q. What about your game do you feel you needed to work on the most in the off-season, and what did you work on?

OUSMANE DIENG: I worked on everything I feel like. I still need to work on everything, but especially on my shot. I worked a lot with Chip on my shot and on my form shooting.

It was probably that.

Q. Poku was telling us how much he misses the food of Serbia. Are you the same way? Do you miss the food? What do you miss the most? What do you like or not like about Oklahoma food?

OUSMANE DIENG: It's not I don't like. It's just I miss the French food, French bakery especially.
