Q. What (indiscernible) for you? First time us seeing you play. (Indiscernible)?
NIKOLA TOPIC: It's just a lot of good things. Just to play the games I love, it was pretty amazing. He was really the first, it was like what do I do now? Do I sleep, do I eat. When do I do stuff? Do I take a nap? But later on it was all better and I think it will only get better.
Q. This is your first training camp. Are you pretty excited about that?
NIKOLA TOPIC: Yeah, for sure. Like I said, just to be able to play with these guys who are great. Just to be a part of the team now. It feels amazing.
Q. What are you looking forward to most just being able to get on the floor with these guys? Just talk about in the training camp and even this season. Who are you looking most to learn from this season?
NIKOLA TOPIC: I would say everybody. Everybody has something to say and some advice that they can give. So I'm excited to get to know them, to try to make them better and just to try to help my team get as many wins as we can get.
Q. Even though you didn't get to play, you got to experience a championship run. What did you learn throughout that that you can take to this year for your rookie season?
NIKOLA TOPIC: Yeah, it was amazing to be a part of that. It would probably be even better if I played. So it was an amazing experience. And I would say just to stay on the path, stay positive, believe in ourselves as a team and trust each other.
Q. Really unfortunate setback for Thomas, but a similar situation to what you were in last season. Have you reached out to him? And how much are you going to take it upon yourself to help through this process throughout the season?
NIKOLA TOPIC: Yeah. We talked a little bit. I think he sounds really good. I gave him obviously encourage and stuff, which I probably will more later. But I told him it will be (indiscernible) season of the game. And (indiscernible) when I'll be back. It's too boring now to be on the sidelines, but you will get through it. So just you have to find somebody that you can talk to, friends, family or whoever it is. And it'll make your life easier.
Q. You play next to two All-Stars in J-Dub and Shai. I want to ask how excited are you to play next to those guys, and how do you think your game can complement them?
NIKOLA TOPIC: Obviously it's amazing to be in the same locker room as them, like everybody else. But I think I help them maybe like get the ball up the court or something like that. And just make some passes, get defense off their backs, like try to get attention to some other way. Try to free them up.
