Q. Your mental fortitude has been tested in a number of ways all season, today included. What was the attitude you had to have all day and how did it keep you in this day?
WYNDHAM CLARK: Yeah, it was weird, I wasn't really nervous, I was kind of, like, out of it. I just was making just dumb bogeys. I couldn't believe I didn't make anything on greens. I kept trying to get myself going. Then I think when I made the putt on the par-3, it kind of got me back and I jumped right back into it. Yeah, it was fun, actually. As much as I would have loved to run away with this, it was fun getting the juices going and really feel the angst coming down at the end.
Q. Take us inside your swing a little bit. Compared to yesterday when it felt like you couldn't miss anything, what were you fighting out there today, and what did those in-game adjustments look like to allow yourself to stay in it?
WYNDHAM CLARK: It's hard to win. It's obviously hard too when you're up by five. You feel like the only thing you can do is blow it, essentially, unless shoots something really low. What's funny is I felt good with my swing, I just wasn't hitting good shots. Maybe was just a little not focused on a few of the shots. But, yeah, in game, I just started saying, All right, just swing free. That's what Dave kept telling me was to swing free. Down the end I really started to, and I was really proud of myself that I didn't let it get away. Even though it seemed like it did, I was still mentally there and then finished strong.
Q. We hear you talk about confidence a lot. Listen, you have an elite resume, you certainly deserve to be held in that elite tier. What did today, what does this week prove to you about Wyndham Clark and your abilities moving forward?
WYNDHAM CLARK: Well, man, I think it shows that I'm one of the best players in the world. I think -- I know everyone maybe gives me a hard time and roots for other people, but I feel like I've kind of come into my own. Three wins in one season is my best year yet. Coming off my worst year ever. Yeah, I'm just really pleased where I'm at right now.
