Q. Scottie, congratulations. We just mentioned it. It was a difficult day of scoring, but not for you. What was so challenging out there, and how were you able to answer the call the way you did?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: The golf course got a bit firmer. There was some wind. I feel like for Atlanta this feels like a lot of wind. It's pretty rare to get some wind here.
Yeah, with the way the rough is, when it gets firm, the fairway started to play a little more narrow. Today was a day I was fortunate to get off to a good start and was able to make some birdies late in the round to kind of seal the deal.
Q. It's fitting that you finish your season the way you started, with a win, and it's also fitting that it happened while chasing. We saw you do that a lot this season. How do you characterize the fight that we saw from you all year every round every week?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I think that's something I'm very proud of. I think when you look over the course of the season, and especially some of the tough starts -- shooting over-par to start a tournament on the PGA TOUR is never a good spot to be in. I'm very proud of fighting back and having some good finishes and even giving myself some chances to win with some of those poor starts.
Overall just continued to battle, like you said, day in and day out. It's something that I'm very proud of. It's a gift to be out here on TOUR. Each and every day I'm going to try to give it my best.
This was a week which just brought a lot of good energy to the course and just tried to do my best.
Q. I don't think a single fan has left East Lake. Everybody is here to see you, world No.1, because you have provided us with must-see TV moments all season long. You're now sitting here with your 22nd win, your second FedExCup. I wonder what's your most memorable moment from this season?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Gosh, I don't know. I think days like today are really fun. To come from behind and be able to win tournament is a really cool feeling. There was a lot of talented guys in front of me on the leaderboard. I was fortunate to get off to a good start and put myself in the mix.
The crowd, like you said this week, has been amazing. The support I've gotten week in and week out on the PGA TOUR has been tremendous. I have a tendency to keep my head down and kind of stay in my own lane when I'm out there playing. It's really fun when you're able to win and celebrate with the fans in moments like these and have my family here.
I feel bad sometimes. I really do keep my head down and try to focus as much as I can, but I really do hear all the cheers, and I'm very thankful for all of them.
Q. I'd be remiss if we didn't reference Meredith and the kids who are right here behind us. As your family continues to grow and your legend out here on the PGA TOUR continues to grow, how special is it to have them with you every single week for every milestone?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, it's pretty fun. We're at a stage right now where the boys are able to travel and Mer's able to come out every week. Parts of it are very tough when you're setting up Pack 'n Plays, tents in the middle of the night, sound machines, trying to get the air conditioning working when you're across the pond, little stuff like that that people don't see.
I think times can be tough, but I don't think Mer and I would trade it for anything. It's fun to be able to travel as a family, and I'll soak it in as long as I can.
