Q. Brandt, there were some great matches out there, but unfortunately for you guys, it was the International's day. What did you see from your team?
BRANDT SNEDEKER: The guys played really well. There was some high quality golf out there. There was not a hole given between all the matches I watched. Hat's off to the International Team. They went out there and played great. They made a ton of putts. I feel like our guys hit a bunch of great putts and just couldn't find the bottom of the hole.
You're going to have sessions like this in these things. I feel terrible for the guys because I know they grinded out there and gave me everything they had today, and it wasn't meant to be. That being said, there's still 20 points out there. There's a lot of golf left to play.
We've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow, long day on Sunday. I love the makeup of my team. I love the character that's in that team room. See a few putts go in, and we'll have some fun over the weekend.
Q. If there is some heads hanging from your guys, what would you say to them?
BRANDT SNEDEKER: This thing is 35, 40 percent over. It's not even halftime of a football game. There's a lot of golf left. Come in with a great attitude, keep doing what you're doing.
I've said it all week; we have high quality, high character guys in that room. They are fierce competitors. We're going to wash this off on the way home tonight, hit the reset button, come out here totally refreshed tomorrow ready to go. We're not going to hang our heads. It's not what we do. It's not how these guys operate.
I'm fortunate to have these guys in the team room because I know what they're made of. I know what they're built of. It's going to be a long weekend, a lot of golf still left to play.
