DOUG MILNE: Coming off a great year, season, made it all the way through TOUR Championship. Just some thoughts on how good you thought the year was, especially heading into another one now.
SCOTT STALLINGS: Honestly, that was the biggest goal, to start the year in Napa and end up in Atlanta. Never done that. Definitely the best year of my career. I want to carry it over. Nothing really changes. Continue doing the stuff we were doing week in, week out to prepare to play well through the weekends.
Nice to kind of have an opportunity to build a little bit of a different schedule and play yourself in and around events that you hope to be in, now that we are in. All good things. A little bit of an adjustment from week to week, but overall the plan is still the same, and got a really good group of guys around me to help me make decisions, and continue to press on where you kind of don't know what you're missing until you have it and then you have a chance to experience it. You're like, all right, I want to do this again.
Q. I know you're one of the hardest workers out here. Did you change anything with your game, your mindset? What do you attribute that to solid year?
SCOTT STALLINGS: Just a little bit of a different approach into trying to give myself more opportunities to kind of climb up leaderboards in unique situations. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But definitely coming down the stretch in a few events, continuing to stay aggressive and not be complacent with the position I'm in and continue to trying to push towards the lead. Especially you don't know when you're going to get those opportunities again, so try and make those as many times as possible, I guess.
Q. Coming back as a defending champion here at the Sanderson Farms, obviously it must mean a lot to come back to a tournament you've won before.
SCOTT STALLINGS: Yeah, Sanderson Farms and Jackson have always been really good to me. Obviously I won at Annandale, so different time of year, different course and everything, but the city and the sponsor does a great job as far as embracing the event, and look forward to being back and definitely one of my favorite places on TOUR.
