Q. You got off to a fast start and kept the hammer down most of the way.
WILL ZALATORIS: Yeah, I kind of had a good off week last week with Josh, figured some stuff out and just played really solid on the front. I didn't really feel like I hit a bad shot. On 9 it just barely spun in the water and Cam kind of went on a little bit of a run, but nice to get off to a good start.
Q. You've played well on the PGA TOUR now for a couple years but you're not far removed from college and match play. You've got to be comfortable with this format.
WILL ZALATORIS: Yeah, I was asking Josh Gregory since he won a couple national championships at Augusta State, so I was a little bit rusty and kind of wanted a little refresher. But no, I love it. I won a U.S. Junior, so that's the thing about match play is you can't get too high or too low and the old adage of always expect your partner to make it.
Q. You ended the match at 14; what do you do now, go practice?
WILL ZALATORIS: No, I'll go stick to the plan, just pretend I played 18 holes and obviously get ready for tomorrow.
