XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, it was a little shaky. I mean kind of got a weird break on 1, had to chip out. Got up-and-down for par which was big.
2, hit it in the hazard, had to chip out, got up-and-down for par.
Hit it close on 3.
So it was kind of -- hit one OB as well.
So a little sloppy, a little bit back and forth, but sort of got the momentum on my side turning on the back nine.
Q. Can those kind of early par saves on those first holes keep, not really momentum, but keep it kind of going?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, it just doesn't let it swing one way. So I felt like it was big for me just to hit some nice sort of wedge shots early just to stay alive. I could have been 2-down pretty quickly.
Q. Do you see your game trending in a good direction?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: No, I think it's going in the right direction.
Q. You played out the last two holes, was there a reason for you to do that?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, I'm sure I wasn't the only one, but Monday was sort of -- I played Tampa, came in and wasn't really down to wake up super early and play before the hail arrived. So I told Austin, might as well play or hit some extra tee shots there on 16 and 17.
