Q. Given your experience and what you've accomplished in this event, when you're able to get a win, it's always good, but when you win like that, does it give you a little something extra?
KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, man, just to grind it out there. I was struggling all day early, probably through the first 10 or 12 holes. Couldn't really get anything to go my way, and I just kept grinding, staying in the moment. Making that putt on 15 really flipped the momentum and I felt like I had the match in my hand then.
Q. Would you rather have the win you had yesterday which seemed pretty stress free or today?
KEVIN KISNER: Well, yesterday was a lot more fun on the head, but today's -- I love that grind. I love being in that moment. I love having the ball in my hand trying to grind it out, and I feel like I have an advantage when it's going that way.
Q. I think they said on the telecast that you have more wins on this golf course than anyone else. Is it the golf course or the format?
KEVIN KISNER: Well, the golf course certainly helps. If we were playing this at Bethpage, I'd be gone tomorrow. It just depends on the golf course, but I definitely love the match play, I love grinding it, and I think it suits my game really well.
Q. You were 2-down at 13 and that was a nice way to come home.
KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, it was, man. It wasn't going my way, wasn't playing great. Over par through probably 12 or 13 holes. The course is getting so firm and fast and windy, it's just getting tough. Made three birdies in the last four, which was huge, and sweet day.
Q. That was a nice shot you hit here at 18. Good drive over there on the right, and the second shot was sweet.
KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, I actually clubbed down to flight something down. I knew I had kind of a backstop there, but it's kind of craps luck on if it stays up there on top. You saw Luke's ball get all the way up there and come back. So fortunate to have that.
Q. You've got Justin Thomas tomorrow; you win, you're in. You lose, who knows what's going to happen.
KEVIN KISNER: That's right. Couldn't script it up any better playing with my buddy J.T. I'm sure we'll have plenty of trash talking up there, and I'm sure we'll play a little better tomorrow.
Q. What was it about this match today that worked for you?
KEVIN KISNER: Well, it was ugly early. I was struggling to figure out the wind, struggling to figure out the green speeds, but finishing off birdieing three of the last four to win the match is pretty sweet.
Q. What is it about you on this course because you have the most match wins of anybody here at Austin Country Club.
KEVIN KISNER: Well, I love match play obviously and I love the golf course. It's firm and fast and kind of like something I grew up on, Palmetto Golf Club. I feel very comfortable. I feel like I can hit it out there with the guys and attack the par-5s like they do.
Q. You've got Justin Thomas tomorrow.
KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, I'm sure he's looking for some revenge between national championship and last year, so let's keep him down while we have him down.
