Q. Kind of take us through that second shot on the last hole and what you were seeing there.
BROOKS KOEPKA: To be honest with you I got kind of lucky. It was such hard pan, the ball wouldn't stay and it was just going, so we had to come back on a relatively flatter lie, a good lie, was able to put it in a good lie and was able to get some spin on it which made it 10 times easier, but just happy to get a win.
Q. It didn't seem like you gave Shane much down the stretch. All day you were making mostly pars and then some birdies early. How would you describe your game right now? Do you feel pretty good?
BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I've felt good for a while. Unfortunately the draw at PLAYERS, felt like I played two solid rounds last week and just kind of ho-hummed it in the middle. Been playing good, just really haven't seen the results. You know, this week anything can happen.
Q. What's the key to getting up early but then having him claw back and tying the match back up? What's the key mentally?
BROOKS KOEPKA: I seem to give it away between 8 and 11 pretty much every day. The 8th hole is going to give me fits. But been playing well. Making a lot of birdies, not really making many mistakes. Would have liked to have made a couple more putts there coming in. Hit some good putts, just didn't go in.
Q. Kind of unrelated, but it's been 10 years since Rivera 2012, NCAAs. Probably not your most memorable week, but what do you remember from that playoff? I think I heard at one point you described that par putt you made as one of the more nervous putts that you've converted.
BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, at the time it was one of the most nervous, but what I remember? I remember Berger choking. That's what I remember. I think he made double or triple.
Q. He made double and then he three-putted the 54th hole the day before.
BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, exactly, so yeah Berger choking.
Q. Do you think he's learned from that?
BROOKS KOEPKA: Seems to be doing all right, doesn't he.
Q. Anything else about that?
BROOKS KOEPKA: No.
