Q. Talk about getting to the round of 16. How satisfying is that?
KEVIN NA: It's very satisfying and it was a tough match, all three matches. Today I knew, Joaquín's a tough opponent and I knew it was going to be a tough one. We battled it out and the back nine I just played solid. He didn't really give me any freebies and he didn't, there wasn't much of an opening and on 18 he gave me one opening and I took it.
Q. You knew that was going in and you walked it in, picked the ball straight up. Talk us through that.
KEVIN NA: Yeah, I had about a 5-footer, five and a half feet maybe, downhill. It's probably breaking two inches out on the left. It's got a good break to it and I hit it and it was in, halfway there it was in. Had it not been to win the match I would have been there before it got there.
Q. Playoff with Maverick?
KEVIN NA: Mav's been playing great all week. We halved our match and he played unbelievably well, and for me just to halve it was huge for me.
I hit a great shot in there to about 14 feet behind the hole and he had about a four, four and a half footer for a par. My putt was so fast. I played it probably two and a half feet on the left and it was just barely trying to drip in. I'm trying to make it at the same time, make sure it is within a few inches because he's got to make that four and a half-footer, which was no gimmie. It was outside the hole on the left. But, man, it was a nice to see that one go in.
Q. You came to the week not feeling the best. I think you came with a bit of flu. How are you feeling now?
KEVIN NA: Better. Yeah, every day I'm feeling better. I tested at home and I tested negative, so I was okay to come here, and every day I felt better.
But Cornell, my trainer, has been a lot of help and he got me this little, it's not a humidifier, but it's one of those things you put water and a little bit of like those oils and it has a scent that helps you breathe and it was very helpful and I thank him for that.
Q. Tomorrow's match, tell us about that.
KEVIN NA: I think I'm playing Will. I just saw him make the birdie and he's a tough opponent. I'm playing against all these young kids. You know what, it's match play. It's going to be interesting. It's going to be fun. Nice kid. We're going to have a good time and it's going to be a good match.
