Q. He was fighting hard; thought you were going to close him out at 15, couldn't make the six-footer but you do make the seven-footer here. How does that feel?
J.T. POSTON: It feels great. Obviously Tommy has got a great resume, match play and stroke play, so I knew it wasn't going to be easy and I was going to have to play well.
I felt like I played pretty steady, solid golf. Just tried not to give him too many of them, and fortunately came out on top here on 16.
Q. 1-up after the first hole, and you never let him catch up.
J.T. POSTON: Yeah, that was kind of the game plan, get off to a good start and just play solid golf and make him earn them with birdies, and fortunately I rolled it pretty well other than that six-footer on 15.
Yeah, just try and keep it rolling the next couple days.
Q. How does your game suit this golf course, because so many styles of players have been able to win here?
J.T. POSTON: Yeah, I think it suits it well. I think it suits match play really well. I feel like I'm never out of the hole because I feel like I'm a good putter, and so even if I get a little wayward off the tee or on the greens, if I can just give myself a putt I feel like I'm always in it.
That's kind of my mentality, and I think on this golf course you can't really overpower it too much. There's definitely some short holes that you can kind of get after it, some of the longer guys will. For me I'm just trying to hit fairways and greens and let the putter get hot.
