Q. What a tough match against the veteran Matt Kuchar, back and forth all day. Where did you think you got a little bit of momentum in this match?
JASON DAY: 16. Yeah, I just knew that I was going to be the one that was going to make mistakes and he wasn't going to make mistakes. Fortunately I got lucky with him kind of driving it down on the downslope, which kind of took him out of play on 18.
I felt like I played really solid on the front side again, and the back side just didn't make -- I made a couple mistakes. I probably should have listened to my caddie, Luke, on 11 and hit the 5-iron and just hit it over the green. It was a perfect number for my 6-iron, just I toed -- like hit it on the toe pretty heavy there, and it just elevated pretty quick, and it was just unfortunate.
He's tough. I just didn't want to be the guy that I lost to Matt and he beat Tiger's record.
