Q. Scottie, following up on what was said there, you've been doing a lot of chasing on Sunday this year. Obviously you're in the position where all players want to be heading into Sunday, but does that mentality change at all for you being the one in the pole position?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: No. Strategy is still the same, just go out there and execute. This is a golf course where that's really all it comes down to. I'll just do my best to go out there tomorrow and be committed and try and execute.
Q. You birdied the 16th hole. Is that important to you as you head into that tough stretch of 17 and 18?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, it's a reachable par-5, so it's definitely a hole you want to take advantage of. Like you said, 17 and 18 are challenging holes, especially when you're not in the fairway. Definitely nice to get some momentum there on the 16th.
Q. We talked yesterday about all the birdie putts. How big were the par saves today?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Any time you're holing those kind of 10 to 15-footers, it's really nice to keep the round going. I holed a few of those today. It was definitely important to keep the momentum in the round going.
Q. Par save, walk us through on No. 3. How big of a par save is that after hitting the tree?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, reachable par-5 there is a hole where you think you're going to be able to give yourself a look for birdie at the worst. Kind of made a mess of the hole and was able to hole a nice putt there for par.
Q. Playing alongside Sam Burns in the final round, your friend. Obviously you guys get along very well. What's it like playing alongside your friend in Sunday competition? How different is that from a regular match you guys play?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, it's always a little weird just because I want him to have success so much and I think he wants the same for me. Tomorrow we'll go out there and play our game and see where things finish up at the end of the day.
It will be a competition like normal. It will be fun being out there with your friend but it's also a bit weird at the same time.
Q. Are you going to share a chat tonight or no talking tonight?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I wouldn't say texting is one of my strong suits, so probably not.
